About the Project – what is VitaHab
VitaHab, the international flagship of Haapsalu’s Active Living Cluster, is a pioneering center combining care, rehabilitation, and community to support older adults and those recovering from crises. We focus on meaningful ageing and confident recovery in a holistic, human-centered environment.

Founded to revolutionize care practices, VitaHab goes beyond traditional medical facilities. It’s a living, learning, and healing ecosystem where healthcare providers, rehabilitation specialists, technology developers, academic institutions, and the local community collaborate to enhance wellbeing and ensure dignity and inclusion.
VitaHab serves elderly individuals, families, and people affected by conflicts or disasters, offering personalized care and rehabilitation in a supportive, community-based environment.
VitaHab operates at the intersection of healthcare innovation, real estate, and social impact — engaging stakeholders across sectors to build a sustainable model for the future of care.
