Building VitaHab: A Vision Coming to Life in Haapsalu

Since 2024, a team of international professionals has been working steadily to bring the Haapsalu International Care & Rehabilitation Center — VitaHab — to life.

VitaHab is more than a center. It’s a new model of active living, care, and recovery — built for people who seek support, healing, and dignity at every stage of life. The project brings together decades of expertise in healthcare, rehabilitation, architecture, and sustainable development — and aims to become a flagship for quality of life in Europe and beyond.

Haapsalu, Estonia — a historic resort town with over a century of healing traditions and a remarkably clean natural environment — was chosen as the ideal place to begin.

VitaHab is designed not only for older adults, but also for people recovering from the aftermath of natural disasters, accidents, and armed conflicts — offering pathways back to independence through medical care, rehabilitation, and community support.

With the location secured and the concept fully shaped, VitaHab is entering its next phase. We’re actively engaging with future residents, families, partners, and supporters as we prepare the ground — not just literally, but also through planning, partnerships, and research — for what will become a unique environment for supported, meaningful living.

We invite you to follow our journey here at VitaHab.com — and join us as we build a better future of care and recovery.
